Side By Side Competition
Two identical obstacle courses. Two teams. Two timers.
Which breed team will have the best average time? This show will be sure to please the crowd. Be sure to come watch and support our local charity! Come and enter the show with a your breed!
Riders and horses must be able to ride min. a L2 course (trot and canter). Course map will be available for learning and practice. Schooling and practice session on March 5, 2023 at Ancaster Fairgrounds for entries to this show. OE proof of insurance.

Teams must be comprised of 3 to 4 horse/riders with the same breed.
Teams entered will get a free Trade show booth to promote their horse breed and their business
Entries will be open February 15th, 2023
Individuals must be part of a team to apply
As this is a Charity promotional event there is no cost to enter the Battle of the Breeds Challenge
Team Practice
March 4/5 Ancaster Fairground
We have the Ancaster fairgrounds booked for a March 4 and 5 2023 for practice. It is important for all competing teams to understand the rules/requirements for the competition. This is not only a competition - but a performance. We will be setting up the course for instruction /practice go over rules etc before this show. Once teams are entered we will be holding information session and course map will be available to practice at home. The purpose of this is to provide a fun night of entertainment, breed exposure and raise money for charity. It's best if there is ample opportunity to see the course, learn the rules and practice!
